H Town Saints Youth Club aims to help Hackney Mind the Gap (Hackney’s Formal Community Strategy for increasing opportunity) by ensuring that young people in our local area have opportunities to achieve positive outcomes for their lives. The young people work together with the Children and Youth working party at St John’s to help give young people and volunteer’s opportunities to develop leadership and mentoring skills for the future.

Friday Film Fest is an opportunity for young people ages 11+ to come together in a relaxed safe space to watch and discuss topical films. The session encourages young people to discuss prominent issues relevant to young people today such and bullying, friendships, aspirations, teen pregnancy etc. Film Fest aims to highlight lifestyle choices.

The Partnership
Hope FC is a partnership between Frampton Park Baptist, St John-at-Hackney and St. Luke’s Church & Ambassadors In Sport who are the core management team. Churches and youth centres in the Hackney area have joined the project as it develops. Dan Owen, an employee of Ambassadors in Sport, will is responsible for the overall operation of the project. |
