OUR GLORIOUS BUILDING
Dubbed the Cathedral of Hackney our building boasts magnificent Georgian splendor. Built to seat 2,200 people, this building can now be used for all sorts of acts of worship, but also great community events. The very soul of Hackney emerges from these hallowed walls and this churchyard, which in itself is the largest green space in Hackney Central.

As well as being one of London's treasured landmarks, St John at Hackney is a venue. It has become one of the most exceptional settings for events in London, able to accommodate up to 1400 guests for concerts and parties and up to 600 for seated events. We specialize in providing an exciting, diverse location for filming as well as parties, conferences and receptions. We can offer bulk parking for film crews who require space for large catering trucks and hospitality units and with exceptional acoustics we have hosted some of the finest classical recordings including Nigel Kennedy's 'Four Seasons'.
