WORKING PARTIES
The working parties are now on holiday.  The next set of meetings will be in September.
The PCC meets on Tuesday (20th) at 7.30pm at the Rectory

CHILDREN’S HOLIDAYS
Please let Fr Rob know by tomorrow if you still would like a place on the Bryanston holiday.

SEASIDE TRIP
This year we shall be travelling to Broadstairs on 7 August.  Please give your names to one of the clergy.  Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children.
 
SEATING APPERAL
The seating appeal is in full swing.  The seating appeal will end on 17th October, with a Gift Day on the 3rd October when we celebrate Harvest Festival.  Please try as much fundraising as possible until then.  Donations can also be made through your credit card via the church website.

CHAIRS IN CHURCH
As part of the seating appeal, there will be an opportunity to buy some of the current seating in church (Pews and wooden Chairs) If you are interested, please speak to Hugo or Laura.  
 
FR DAVID’S DEPARTURE
On the 25th July, there will be a picnic in the churchyard as we say good bye to Fr David.  We will see him again at his Induction as Vicar of  St Christopher's Walworth on 23 September.

CHURCH CLEAN UP
On Friday 30th July we welcome a crowd of workers from UBS who will be clearing out the church and St John’s Education centre for the day.  Please let Fr Rob know if you would like to help out.  

FAMILY TREE ART
Will Bock will be running workshops on August 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 August for budding artists over the age of 12.  Please see the website or posters for more details

JELLICOE PLACEMENTS
Please do not forget to invite Jim or Jaya over for a cup of tea or some food.  They are here quite literally to listen to you and your views of Hackney. Please invite them in!

NEW STEP PRESENTATIONS
Tracy Browne, Stephen Adusei, John Geach and Patricia Amponsah will be given their New Step certificates tonight at 6pm  at St Ann’s Hoxton.  Please come along and support them.
