PATRONAL FESTIVAL Please continue to note that next Sunday, 23 June, there will be a said Eucharist at 9.30am with no service at 11.00am.
BISHOP OF LONDON Next Sunday at 6.30pm the Bishop of London will come to formally close the St John at Hackney Pro-ject. Please make sure that you can attend. The date has been in the diary for months! ...During the service we shall watch a film, sing some favourite songs, hear the Bible and also lis-ten to many people talking about the Project. Come and give thanks for that which God has accom-plished through us in the last 5 years, and stay for a glass of some-thing fizzy!
FETE The fete will be on 6 July from 11.00am until 2.00pm. If you would like to organise a stall at the fete (bric-a-brac, food, books, plants etc) please sign up on the sheet over the next few weeks. If you would also like to just help out, add your name to the sheet as well. The main focus of the fete this year is not on making money, but enabling others to take part ‘in conversation’ about our shared future.
SEASIDE TRIP We are going to Broadstairs on Saturday 20 July, leaving at around 8.00am. We have space for around 60 people. The cost is £10 for adults and £5 for children. If you would like to come, please sign up or see Fr Chris for more infor-mation.
CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY Spaces are now available for the children’s holiday, 12-16 August 2013. We will be travelling to Dorset for a week of wild activi-ties. If you would like your child to come (ages 8-15) then please ask for a form this morning. There are 25 places available, and over 10 have gone already! Places cost £100, but speak to Fr Rob in confi-dence if this is difficult. Your child will not be told they cannot go, because it cannot be afforded! If there are any leaders who wish to come,
